    Hold is solid for an everyday slick, but I couldn't get a really tall quiff to stay even with two scoops. If you dry-comb it you'll see a bit of flaking, so I just work it in on damp hair and it's fine.

    The grapefruit scent is subtle and clean, and it gives a nice high shine without going crunchy or flaking on me. Plenty strong to keep a pomp up through the day.

    I've got thick hair with a hard part and wanted a water-based option that could actually lock it down, and this is the one that finally kept my slick back in place all day. Rinses out clean in the shower too, no greasy leftover.
